Cross Country 2026
The South East Lancs and Red Rose Leagues, have merged together and formed a new established league ‘Lancashire Rose Cross Country League’
Below are the dates for the 2026 fixtures to save the dates.
2026 Season Race Fixtures
· Saturday 10th October 2026 – Leigh Sports Village
· Saturday 17th October 2026 – Heaton Park, Manchester
· Saturday 14th November 2026 – Marl Pitts, Rossendale
· Saturday 28th November 2026 – Sefton Park, Liverpool
Our club pays all entry fees, so all you need to do is register with Gareth and turn up on the day with our club vest. Everyone is welcome of all abilities.

Collection of Numbers
Number collection will take place at the desk in the clubhouse. Team Managers will receive envelopes containing the allocated numbers and Team sheets. Any entries submitted after today will be allocated on the day and will not be included in the team envelopes.
There are no entries on the day.
Race Times
· Under 12 Boys – 12:15pm
· Under 12 Girls – 12:30pm
· Under 14 Boys – 12:45pm
· Under 14 Girls – 13:00pm
· Under 16 Boys & Girls – 13:15pm
· Under 18 Men & Women, Under 20 Senior & Vet Women – 13:35pm
· Under 20 Senior & Vet Men – 14:15pm

Car Parking
There is adequate free parking around the stadium.
T‑Shirts / Vests
All runners must wear their club vest or T‑shirt. Anyone not wearing club kit will be disqualified.
DNFs
Please remind your runners to inform a marshal in the finish area if they withdraw from the race.
Headphones
Headphones are not permitted in any cross‑country event under UKA rules.
Replacement Numbers
Race numbers should be kept for all league races. If a number is lost or damaged, replacements are available for £2 on the day from the Nifty Entries pick-up truck which will be parked on the tarmac drive near the start. If you are unable to find them please go to the league tent and we will direct you.
