Eligibility for the club ballot
To be considered for the Darwen Dashers London Marathon Club Ballot, members must meet the following criteria. These rules ensure fairness and recognise the commitment of our active members:
- You must be an active member of the club.
- You must turn up to club runs on a regular basis.
- You must have taken part in three championship races.
- You must have a rejection letter from the London Marathon.
Adhering to these guidelines helps us ensure that the ballot place goes to a deserving and engaged member of the Darwen Dashers Running Club.
How to enter the club ballot
Participating in the club ballot is straightforward for eligible members.
Our Road Captain will ask for anyone who wants to be concidered for this and then you just need to send your official rejection letter from the London Marathon, and you are entered. Simply ensure you meet all other eligibility requirements as listed above.
