Accrington RR - Blackburn RR – Darwen D – Riversway R - Trawden AC – Ribble Valley R
Please support the club by offering to be involved with this new league and making it a success
Key Principles:
Interclub Championships (New Local Running Club League)
Key Principles:
The League will include 4 or 5 other local clubs of similar ability.
The emphasis is on inclusivity of all club members with every runner competing contributing to the Clubs overall score.
Only members of the joining clubs will be allowed to run, no guest runners etc.
The races will be “no frills” - on new routes not normally used on other races.
Some venues will have limited car parking so car sharing would be essential.
Every effort will be made for the routes to avoid walkers and traffic but in the event “our paths cross” patience, safety and courtesy must be priority.
The organisers will be open to constructive criticism and/or suggestions during this first season.
Any questions about the new league, please do not hesitate to give me a call or drop me an email

Format
The first season of the league will be based over 3 races, each of the races hosted by different clubs.
Clubs will enter a minimum of 10 men & 5 Ladies per race.
Races will be followed by light refreshments and Team/Club Prizes.
Clubs will enter a minimum of 10 men & 5 Ladies per race.
With a minimum of 20 runners and maximum of 22 in total.
It is intended to have a unique format with results based on Teams ( First 10 x Men’s & First 5 x Ladies) & Club results and NOT individuals.
No names or times will be recorded, only the runners club (by running vest) and gender.
Runners age will be taken into consideration when compiling results.
By applying the above principles it is expected to be easy to understand and simple as the organisers launch the new leagues and first season. (No Timing or race numbers are required.
Results and a league table will be compiled after each race.
Scoring is based on =
1st - 1 Point
2nd = 2 Points
3rd = 3 Points
There is no requirements that all runners compete in all races, we just need 20 to 22 runners per race.
