October’s Dasher of the Month is the wonderful Sanne Keijzer. Sanne is now the 2nd Dutch female fell runner to be profiled this year – what a truly cosmopolitan and international club we have become!

June’s Dasher of the Month is the multi-talented Diane Dudgeon. I first met Di when we were timekeeping together at Witton Parkrun. I could tell that she was a superstar so (when I could get a word in ) I insisted that she joined us. As well as being a great runner and friend to many of us, Diane is also one of the Race Directors at Witton Parkrun and she has recently volunteered to become our Club Welfare Officer. Thanks, Di 

This month’s Star Dasher is our new Club Treasurer, Dashers’ Parkrun Championship Co-ordinator, Christmas Party Quizmaster & all-round top bloke and fabulous wordsmith, Ian Thomson. Enjoy!

This month’s Star Dasher is the legendary Sue Corsini. I’ve enjoyed hundreds of runs with Sue over the years. Sue is one of the longest serving Dashers at the club and she is still mixing it with the best as she is the current Ladies Road Race Champion 

This month’s star Dasher is our Italian Stallion, Cesare Giombetti. Cesare is a very busy chap but he often appears at local fell and road races and enjoys Brian’s hill sessions on a Monday when he can make it 

This month’s star Dasher is our flying Dutchwoman, Emma Houterman. Emma is a regular with the fell running group on club nights and a keen helper with entries and results for club races. Enjoy 

This month’s star Dasher is our Fell Running Captain, Gareth Davies. In 2021, Gareth achieved surely one of the finest feats ever achieved by a Dasher – a Bob Graham Round with over 2 hours to spare, although he did have to endure a massage from Iain Asher on the way round! Happy New Year, Dashers
