Following the success of the 2025 event and partnership with Running Spec Events, the Dashers are once again proud to announce the return of the "rollercoaster" ride for 2026!!!!
Event Day Details:
Date: Sunday 5th April 2026 - Start 10am.
Location: Blacksnape Playing Fields, Blacksnape Road, Darwen BB3 3PN.
Registration: 8:00am to 9:45am.
Facilities: on-site Café serving Hot & Cold Food, Hot & Cold drinks, chocolate, crisps etc in addition to toilets, changing facilities and secure bag drop.
Hosted: by the legendary Andy O'Sullivan MBE.
What's Included:
Medal and T-shirt for all finishers.
Prizes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female in addition to male and female V40 through to V70 age category prizes.

The 2026 Route
The race starts and ends at Blacksnape Playing Fields in Darwen. The route is run in an anti-clockwise direction, with left turns making up almost the entire course. The route is well marshalled and features three water stations. If the weather is good, you’ll have a clear view of Pendle Hill and Longridge Fell beyond Blackburn. On an exceptionally clear day, you can even see as far as Ingleborough and the Lake District!
