Association |
The association looking after fell runners' interests. The
website gives some background information about the association, details
of how to join and most importantly, updates on races. You can only get
the full list of races by joining the FRA. |

Federation |
One for people who want a run with a mental challenge. If
you haven't tried orienteering before then have a go - its a great way to
practice your navigation skills. Pick one which isn't in a forest for
starters though, and don't be fooled by the apparently short course
distances. These measurements are only for people who can get it right
first time and I for one can't do that. |

This team are on standby at every one of the Dashers' Fell
Races and even attend most events, giving their support even when there
are no emergency incidents. We are grateful - please give them some money

This is a mine of information on running events in of all
kinds in the North West. A well as the fell races, there are road races,
trail races, duathlons, triathlons and all sorts. There are also some
